HEADSPACE launch first track from new album ‘All That You Fear Is Gone’

Headspace, the band featuring Damian Wilson (Threshold) & Adam Wakeman (Ozzy Osbourne, Snakecharmer), recently announced the release of their second album ‘All That You Fear Is Gone’ on 26th February 2016 and you can view the striking artwork above. The band, completed by guitarist Pete Rinaldi (Hot Leg) & bassist Lee Pomeroy (It Bites, Steve Hackett), and new drummer Adam Falkner (Babyshambes, Dido, One Eskimo) have also launched the first track to be taken from the album, and you can listen to ‘Your Life Will Change’ here.

Vocalist Damian Wilson had this to say about the track:
"We have a natural need to better ourselves, our situation and future. This is part of the human survival instinct and is encouraged and fed by the world we live in. Despite being aware that the real value is in the here and now, we find ourselves brushed along. But is it truly possible to opt out from this merry go round?
'Your life will change' references past civilisations to modern entertainment. We are distracted and controlled by a society. But what happens if we really break away from 'The' group and ignore the ideal we're being sold? Will we become gods or fallen angels?"

Guitarist Pete Rinaldi adds of the album: "This album picks up where I Am Anonymous finishes. The process of each of us adding their creativity to the tracks has made this something we are really proud of. All That You Fear Is Gone features the debut of my good friend Adam Falkner on drums who has done a fantastic job making his mark on this record, we are all looking forward to bringing it to live audiences."

The full track-listing for the album is as follows:
Road to Supremacy
Your Life Will Change
Polluted Alcohol
Kill You With Kindness
The Element
The Science Within Us
Semaphore
The Death Bell
The Day You Return
All That You Fear Is Gone
Borders and Days
Secular Souls

Adam Wakeman previously commented on the record:
"This album is the first to debut new Drummer Adam Falkner whom Pete Rinaldi and I have toured with a lot in the past. He's a superb player and he really fits with the band's sound and style. He also gets a round in, which is a plus."

Damian Wilson adds:
"The conforming individual represented in the first album that breaks away, is reflected in All That You Fear Is Gone. Free thinking, fighting against natural grouping, what appears as destructive rebellion is in fact evolution. Written to make the listener think, whilst capturing the ear with complexity and simplicity combined.
Embarking on the second Headspace album I personally had a clear vision, but by the time each band member had thrown in their piece, I thought we had produced an album that was unlistenable to.  As it progressed, the rough edges and corners seemed to settle like a good lasagne. Everyone has their own tastes, but I know this is a bloody good lasagne.”

‘All That You Fear Is Gone’ is the follow-up to 2012’s debut album ‘I Am Anonymous’, once again produced by the band and mixed by Jens Bogren. Expect more information, including tour dates, in the coming months.

Headspace: Reveal preview trailer, cover artwork, release date and launch new homepage

Headspace, the band around keyboardist Adam Wakeman (Ozzy Osbourne) - son of the keyboard legend Rick Wakeman (Yes) - singer Damian Wilson (Threshold), bassist Lee Pomeroy (Steve Hackett), guitarist Pete Rinaldi and drummer Richard Brook, will release their debut album "I Am Anonymous" on May 21st 2012 via InsideOut Music/ EMI. Given the listed musical roots, it seems only logical that Headspace follow a clear direction stylistically: Progressive rock at its finest!

Adam Wakeman: "We're quite open about our influences because that's the music that we love. There's RUSH, YES, GENESIS, a lot of bands. We even give a tip of the hat to DREAM THEATER in a few sections. That's all a part of what we are."

To give everyone a first impression of the upcoming album, Headspace have finalized a preview trailer which can be watched by clicking on the image below. With this special trailer the band offers the possibility to listen to snippets of every song of the entire album, just by clicking on the respective song name in the video.

A simple click on the link starts the video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wxHyZPPnPI

In addition to that the band just launched their brand new website. On www.headspaceonline.com you can find all important information regarding the musicians, the upcoming release of "I Am Anonymous" and other interesting news from the Headspace universe.

March 2012:

InsideOut Music has announced the signing of the progressive metal band HEADSPACE to a worldwide deal.

HEADSPACE keyboardist Adam Wakeman (son of YES' Rick Wakeman and member of Ozzy Osbourne's backing band) comments on the signing: "We are so pleased to be joining forces with InsideOut. We have spent a long time making sure that this album is exactly how we want it; and to have a label behind us that fully understands where the band is coming from and what we're about is incredibly important to us. It's a perfect match."

HEADSPACE began as a way for Wakeman and a close circle of his musician friends to reconnect. There were no preconceptions of launching a progressive metal band, and certainly no visions of grandeur — they just played music that they loved. "We're quite open about our influences because that's the music that we love," the band comments. "There's RUSH, YES, GENESIS, a lot of bands. We even give a tip of the hat to DREAM THEATER in a few sections. That's all a part of what we are."

This impromptu collaboration amongst friends quickly turned into something more serious, leading to the official formation of HEADSPACE and the completion of their debut album, "I Am Anonymous", which will be released this psring through InsideOut Music. The band comments, "Indeed, with players like keyboardist Adam Wakeman, vocalist Damian Wilson (THRESHOLD, ARJEN LUCASSEN), bassist Lee Pomeroy (Rick Wakeman's ERE, IT BITES), HEADSPACE is destined to go in an 'unashamedly prog' direction. People may be surprised to find, however, that for a band led by a keyboardist and vocalist — at least on paper — 'I Am Anonymous' is a heavily guitar-oriented record."

Guitarist Pete Rinaldi and drummer Richard Brook round out the band's lineup, making HEADSPACE a progressive metal powerhouse in the music world.

HEADSPACE is:

Adam Wakeman - Keyboards
Damian Wilson - Vocals
Pete Rinaldi - Guitars
Lee Pomeroy - Bass
Richard Brook - Drums
